Jr. High Physical Education

Mission Statement
The Physical Education Department is excited to help our students embark on the road to life long fitness. During middle school, students dress out in their PE uniform daily, exercise, run, and do a specific activity. This is very different from what they did in elementary school. Your son/daughter has individual sports as a 7th grader, and an emphasis on team sports during the 8th grade. Each student will spend one day a week in the PE classroom where they work out of the textbook called "Fitness for life". Our students learn about the benefits of Physical Activity and what life-long fitness can mean to them.
