Initiate for an immediate threat of danger to occupants of a campus or school building and when any movement will put students and staff in jeopardy. Once implemented, no one is allowed to enter or exit rooms for any reason unless directed by law enforcement.

Implement when conditions outside the building or off-site are safer than inside or on-site. Requires moving or directing students and staff to move from school buildings to a pre-determined safe location.

Take roll and report missing students, student injury, or surplus students/staff to administrator

Travel in pairs, if possible. Bus transportation may be required.
Parents and guardians will be notified primarily by ParentSquare notifications, but possibly several other means, about a decision to release students. These notifications will provide the updated directions on the process depending upon the particular nature of the incident.

The default unification pick up will be the student parking lot on Ridgeway Ave. Traffic will directed to enter from Mendocino Ave and leave by Glenn St. to ensure a consistent flow of traffic.
